Branch price requests

In short

A branch can ask to charge a different price for a product, within 10% of its list, for up to 90 days. Its area manager approves or declines it in Price requests.

Who: area managers decide for their branches (or their cover; it moves up if nobody answers). Head office can look.

  1. Open Price requests. Waiting lists what's waiting, with the price change ("₦1,520 → ₦1,440, −5% vs list").
  2. Choose one. You see the list price, what was asked and until when, the margin, who asked, and Their reason.
  3. Compare the margin with the list's margin, and read Their reason. A named competitor nearby is the usual good reason; a margin close to cost is usually worth declining.
  4. Choose Approve until …, or type a Note and choose Decline…. The note goes to the person who asked.

Price requests

An approved price ends on its date and the branch goes back to the list price; the branch is reminded three days before. Approved and Declined keep the history.

How a branch asks: Ask for a branch price.
