Ask for an urgent delivery

In short

When you can't wait for the next delivery, ask the warehouse for an urgent one. Recalled stock and prescription medicines you've run out of go straight away; anything else, the warehouse supervisor approves first.

Who: branch managers at a branch the warehouse supplies.

1. On Stock from the warehouse, choose Ask for an urgent delivery….

2. Choose Why is it urgent?:

   • Replacing recalled stock: pick the recall. Goes straight away.
   • Prescription medicine out of stock: a patient is waiting. Goes straight away.
   • Something else: the warehouse supervisor approves it first.

   The first two are checked: the recall covers only the recalled product, and the prescription reason only a prescription medicine your branch has none of. For anything else, choose Something else.

3. Add the Products and how many.

4. Say Why it’s needed (required for Something else).

5. Choose Send request.

It goes on today's van. Urgent requests shows your requests from the last 30 days and their answers; Withdraw one that's still waiting.

If something goes wrong

• "Only prescription medicines this branch has none of go without approval."
• "Controlled drugs can’t go on a transfer order yet."
• The button is greyed: the warehouse isn't taking urgent requests. Call it for recalls and prescription stock-outs.
