Storage areas

In short

Tell Scepter360 where stock lives at your branch: shelves, the store room, fridges, the controlled-drug cabinet and quarantine. Fridges get their safe range and reading times.

Who: the owner and branch managers. More settings › Storage Areas (or Settings › Storage Areas).

Add an area

1. Choose Add Storage Area.
2. Type its Name (for example "Fridge 1"), and choose its Kind: Shelf, Store room / hold shelves, Fridge (2–8 °C), Freezer, Controlled-drug cabinet, or Quarantine.
3. For a fridge or freezer, set Safe from (°C), Safe to (°C) and the Reading times (like 08:00, 14:00). A reading outside the safe range raises an alert, and the pharmacist on duty is reminded before each reading time.
4. Save.

A fridge with a sensor: choose Add Sensor, type the vendor and serial, and Register Sensor.

An empty area can be retired.

If something goes wrong

• "Reading times are HH:MM, separated by commas"
• "Can’t retire it yet": there's still stock in it.
